This harness override is used when UPGRADING your factory seat belts to a "harness" style seat belt / restraint system. Because the manufacturers of restraint harnesses do not have provisions to plug into the factory wiring harness the computer will activate a loud buzzer notifying the driver that their seat belt is not plugged in. This plug will turn off that buzzer.
